Jawsome
Jawsome takes the multiplier-spot cluster formula and handles it well. Spots double up to x1,024 and add together, the travelling shark wild keeps cascades alive, and the Golden Shell can jump a whole cluster several levels at once. The mode RTPs are published and the buy menu is priced. It is very volatile, and the 50,000x ceiling only applies in the bonus buy modes, with 25,000x elsewhere.

The multiplier-spot cluster slot is a crowded genre, so a new one needs a reason to exist. Jawsome, released by Massive Studios in February 2025, has a few: multipliers that climb all the way to x1,024, a wild shark that roams between cascades, and a Golden Shell that can push a whole cluster up several levels in one hit.
Its betting profile is unusual. Juice's own games page listed $6.39M wagered across 353K bets over the 30 days to mid-October 2026 - a high turnover from a much smaller number of bets than most Massive Studios games on that list.
An underwater disco
Jawsome is set at a party on the sea floor. An octopus DJ works the decks inside a giant shell, and sharks dance under a mirror ball. The premium symbols are sharks in green, blue and pink plus a yellow anglerfish, which keeps the cast on theme and makes the high-pay symbols easy to pick out on a busy 7x7 grid.
How Jawsome plays
The grid is 7 reels by 7 rows. Wins come from clusters of five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically. A winning cluster is removed, new symbols cascade in, and the sequence continues as long as new clusters form. The paytable has 11 tiers, from clusters of 5 up to 15 or more.
The Green Shark tops the table at 1x to 100x, followed by the Blue Shark at 0.75x to 75x, the Pink Shark at 0.50x to 50x and the Yellow Anglerfish at 0.35x to 30x. The low symbols pay up to 20x, 15x and 10x for the largest clusters.

Features in Jawsome
Multiplier Spots
Every position that is part of a win leaves a Bubble behind. If a later win in the same sequence lands on a Bubble, that spot becomes a multiplier, starting at x2 and doubling with each further win on it: x2, x4, x8 and onwards up to x1,024. Multipliers within a cluster are added together rather than multiplied. In the base game, all spots clear when the cascade sequence ends.
Travelling Wild Shark
The Wild Shark substitutes for every symbol except scatters. Between cascades it moves to a random position, and it stays on the grid until the sequence ends. That makes it more than a one-off wild: it can contribute to several clusters in a row, each time on a different part of the board.
Golden Shell
The Golden Shell appears only in the bonus. When it is part of a winning cluster, it picks a number from 1 to 10 and raises every multiplier spot in that cluster by that many levels along the ladder from Bubble to x2 and up to x1,024. A cluster sitting on several x8 spots can therefore jump straight to far higher values. The Shell is active in Super Free Spins, and in normal Free Spins once a four-scatter retrigger has switched it on.
Free Spins and Super Free Spins
Three scatters trigger 10 Free Spins, and four trigger 12 Super Free Spins. In both rounds, Bubbles and multipliers stay on the grid for the whole bonus rather than clearing after each sequence, which is what lets the spots build up towards the higher steps.
Retriggers work as follows. In Free Spins, three scatters add 4 spins, and four add 8 spins and activate the Golden Shell. In Super Free Spins, three scatters add 4 spins and four add 8.
Bonus buy and enhancers
The buy menu has four options:
- Enhancer 1: 2x the bet, five times the chance of free spins with 3 or 4 scatters.
- Enhancer 2: 5x the bet, five times the chance of free spins with 4 scatters.
- Bonus Buy 1: 100x the bet, a 3-scatter trigger.
- Bonus Buy 2: 500x the bet, a 4-scatter trigger.
In the bonus buy modes, the MASSIVE Max Win applies automatically and lifts the ceiling from 25,000x to 50,000x. Whether you can use these options depends on the casino and the jurisdiction.
Volatility and who it suits
Jawsome is described as very high volatility in most sources, though one data field lists it as high. The design supports the stronger label: the base game clears its multipliers after each sequence, so the large outcomes mostly need the bonus, where spots persist and the Golden Shell can lift them. Expect long stretches of small cascades between meaningful wins.
It is a game for players who enjoy watching a board build up, and who have the bankroll and patience for a very volatile slot. Casual players on a small budget will find it hard going.

Our verdict on Jawsome
Jawsome is one of the strongest entries in the Massive Studios catalogue. The x1,024 ladder gives the multiplier spots real reach, the travelling shark keeps sequences going, and the Golden Shell is a smart way to make the bonus feel different from the base game. Publishing an RTP for every mode is a level of transparency many studios skip.
It is also a very volatile game, and the 50,000x headline belongs to the buy modes. Go in with that understood.
Play responsibly: decide what you can afford to lose before you start, and walk away when you reach it.
