Most affiliate income in betting is paid once or depends on what players lose. StatsBet works differently: it is a football statistics subscription, and its affiliate programme pays 30% of every Premium payment a referred subscriber makes, renewals included. This guide is for football bloggers, tipsters and creators who want to build that kind of income: which content converts, what the numbers look like and which rules to follow.

Disclosure: same owner
StatsBet and iGaming Explorer are both owned by Fonvig Group AS. The terms and prices below come from StatsBet's own pages, read on 30 October 2026.

Why a subscription pays differently

Revenue share in betting pays you a part of what a player loses. That makes income uneven, can leave you with negative balances in a good month for players, and ties your earnings to losses. A subscription share is simpler:

  • You earn from a fixed fee. Premium costs €29 a month or €289 a year for new subscriptions from 1 November 2026, and you receive 30% of each payment: €8.70 a month or €86.70 a year per subscriber.
  • Nothing depends on player losses. A subscriber who wins with their bets still pays the same subscription, so there is no negative carryover.
  • Income builds up. Every renewal pays again, so each new subscriber adds to what you already earn instead of replacing it.

The full terms (cookie, payout, approval) are in our StatsBet affiliate programme review.

What a growing base is worth

Recurring commission is easiest to understand as a base that grows. The table assumes you add a steady number of new monthly subscribers each month and that none cancel, so it shows the ceiling, not a forecast. Cancellations will bring the real numbers down.

New subscribers per monthAfter 6 monthsAfter 12 monthsMonthly income after 12 months
530 active60 active€522
1060 active120 active€1,044
20120 active240 active€2,088

Yearly subscribers pay you €86.70 in one go and again at each renewal. Readers who subscribe before 1 November 2026 keep the old €14.99 price, which pays you €4.50 a month.

Content that turns readers into subscribers

The free version of StatsBet already shows match pages, live scores, statistics, calculators and the top five rows of every screener and prediction list. Your job is to show readers what the locked rows are worth. Six formats that do that:

  1. Match previews built on numbers. Use goal, corner and card statistics for both teams, then link to the StatsBet match page so readers can check the rest themselves. A preview that shows its working converts better than one that only gives a tip.
  2. A weekly value-bet column. The free tier shows one sample from the Value Bet Screener, which lists bets where the model sees at least +15% expected value. Write about the sample and explain that Premium shows every row, with odds and bookmaker.
  3. Player-props angles. Shots, shots on target, fouls, tackles and bookings are markets many bettors look at without data. A short post on one player's numbers is a natural lead into the player-props screener.
  4. Evergreen league guides. "Which teams see the most corners in the Bundesliga" or "BTTS statistics in the Championship" keep getting traffic all season. Link each to the matching StatsBet league or statistics page.
  5. Community channels. If you run a Telegram, Discord or WhatsApp group, StatsBet's free Telegram channel and the Premium channel with alerts give you something concrete to point members to.
  6. Short video. A 30-second walk through a screener on a match day shows the product better than any banner.

Readers in Denmark, Norway, Spain and Sweden can be sent to editions in Danish (statsbet.dk), Norwegian (statsbet.no) and Spanish (statsbet.es), or through statsbet.se, which usually lifts conversion.

Tracking and timing

StatsBet gives you tracking links with a placement tag per channel and a live dashboard of clicks, conversions and earnings by link and placement. Tag every channel separately from the start, so you can see which formats bring paying subscribers and not just clicks. Banners are available in 160×600, 300×250, 728×90 and 320×50.

Timing matters. Interest in football statistics peaks around the start of the season, the busiest weeks of the European competitions and big tournaments. Subscribers keep the price they joined at, so a price-lock message ("subscribe now, keep this price") is honest and effective.

Rules to follow

  • No bidding on the brand. Paid traffic is allowed, but not on terms such as "StatsBet" in search ads.
  • No self-referral. Subscriptions from you or your own accounts earn nothing.
  • No promises of profit. StatsBet itself says Premium is no guarantee of winnings. Present the product as statistics and tools, not as a way to win.
  • Adults only, with responsible-gambling information. StatsBet does not take bets, but your readers do. Add 18+ and responsible-gambling information where you write about betting, and follow the marketing rules of the country you target. See our responsible gambling page.
  • Watch local rules on affiliate pay. Denmark's proposed bill L 37 would ban gambling operators from paying marketers commission based on player turnover, winnings or losses. StatsBet pays a share of a subscription fee and is not a gambling operator, but if you work in Denmark, follow the bill as it progresses.

FAQ5 questions
How much do I earn per StatsBet subscriber?
30% of every payment. At the price from 1 November 2026 that is €8.70 a month for a monthly subscriber or €86.70 a year for a yearly one, for as long as they stay subscribed.
Is StatsBet's commission revenue share?
No. It is a share of a fixed subscription fee, not of what players stake or lose, so there is no negative carryover.
What content converts best for StatsBet?
Content that shows the numbers: statistics-based match previews, a weekly value-bet column built on the free sample, player-props posts and evergreen league statistics guides, each linking to the matching StatsBet page.
Can I promote StatsBet with paid ads?
Yes, except bidding on brand terms such as StatsBet in search ads.
Does Denmark's L 37 bill affect StatsBet affiliates?
L 37 targets commission that gambling operators pay based on player turnover, winnings or losses. StatsBet is a statistics subscription, not a gambling operator, and pays a share of the subscription fee. The bill is not yet law; Danish publishers should follow it as it progresses.
