SlotsBest Online Slots for Real Money in 2026: 12 Picks With Verified RTP
Twelve online slots for real money, each with the RTP its provider publishes, plus volatility and max win, why your casino's RTP may be lower, and the UK stake limits.
The 12 slots below all have an RTP (return to player) published by the provider, from 95.97% for Gonzo's Quest to 96.71% for Big Bass Bonanza. For each one you get the volatility, the maximum win and a short note on how it plays. The RTP shown is the provider's top version. Many casinos run lower versions, so check the RTP in the game's info screen before you play. A high RTP does not mean you will win.
How we chose them: every slot has an RTP we can cite from the provider's own game page; volatility and maximum win come from the provider where it publishes them, otherwise from a named review site; and all four providers hold a UK Gambling Commission licence. We have not played these slots for real money ourselves. This page is based on the providers' published information, not on our own test sessions.

The slots, one by one
1. Gates of Olympus (Pragmatic Play)
A 6x5 grid where 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the screen pay, and winning symbols tumble away to make room for new ones. Multiplier symbols worth up to 500x make the free spins the main event. Pragmatic Play lists the RTP as 96.50%. Bigwinboard rates it high volatility (5/5) with a 5,000x maximum win, which it puts at odds of about 1 in 697,350 spins. Read our Gates of Olympus review.
2. Fortune of Olympus (Pragmatic Play)
A later Olympus-themed release on a larger 7x7 grid. Pragmatic Play gives an RTP of 96.55%. Bigwinboard lists high volatility and a 10,000x maximum win, double the original Gates of Olympus. Read our Fortune of Olympus review.
3. Sweet Bonanza (Pragmatic Play)
The game that made pay-anywhere tumbling grids popular. In free spins, bomb multipliers of up to 100x can land and are added together for the spin. Pragmatic Play lists 96.48%. OLBG rates it medium-high volatility with a 21,175x maximum win; other review sites quote a slightly lower cap, so treat the exact figure with care. Read our Sweet Bonanza review.
4. Sweet Bonanza 1000 (Pragmatic Play)
The same 6x5 layout as the original, but with bigger multipliers. Pragmatic Play states an RTP of 96.53% and wins of up to 25,000x. Bigwinboard rates the volatility high (5/5), a step up from the original. Read our Sweet Bonanza 1000 review.
5. Sugar Rush 1000 (Pragmatic Play)
A 7x7 cluster grid where winning positions leave multiplier spots behind. Pragmatic Play's game page lists 96.00%, which is the figure we use. Some review sites quote 96.53% instead, so check the info screen at your casino. Bigwinboard lists high volatility and a 25,000x maximum win. Read our Sugar Rush 1000 review.
6. Sweet Rush Bonanza (Pragmatic Play)
A cross between Sweet Bonanza and Sugar Rush: a tumbling grid with multiplier spots that grow up to 128x, according to Pragmatic Play. RTP 96.50%. OLBG rates it very high volatility, with a 5,000x maximum win. Read our Sweet Rush Bonanza review.
7. Big Bass Bonanza (Pragmatic Play)
A 5x3 fishing slot whose free spins revolve around collecting money symbols. It has the highest RTP on this list: 96.71%, according to Pragmatic Play. Bigwinboard rates it high volatility (4/5) and gives a 2,100x maximum win, low for this list, so it suits players who want a less extreme top prize. We have not reviewed it yet.
8. Le Bandit (Hacksaw Gaming)
A cluster-pays slot that Hacksaw rates 3 out of 5 for volatility, with a 10,000x maximum win. Hacksaw publishes four RTP versions: 96.34%, 94.23%, 92.17% and 88.36%. The gap between the top and bottom version is almost 8 percentage points, which is why checking the info screen matters. We have not reviewed it yet; see our Hacksaw Gaming page.
9. Wanted Dead or a Wild (Hacksaw Gaming)
A 15-payline western slot that Hacksaw rates 4 out of 5 for volatility, with a 12,500x maximum win. RTP versions: 96.38%, 94.55%, 92.33% and 88.42%. Expect long quiet spells between bonus rounds. We have not reviewed it yet.
10. Razor Shark (Push Gaming)
A 5-reel, 20-line slot built around mystery stacks that reveal symbols or multipliers. Push Gaming lists two RTP versions, 96.70% and 94.06%, and rates the volatility high. Push does not publish a maximum win; OLBG describes the free spins as uncapped, with 85,475x as the highest win recorded. We have not reviewed it yet; see our Push Gaming page.
11. Starburst (NetEnt)
Released in 2012 and still listed among NetEnt's most popular games: 5x3, 10 lines that pay both ways, and expanding wilds that trigger respins. NetEnt lists an RTP of 96.08% and a maximum win of 800x, and puts the volatility at 3.1 on its 0 to 10 scale, which makes it the lowest-volatility slot on this list. Small, frequent wins; no big jackpot.
12. Gonzo's Quest (NetEnt)
A 2010 slot with falling "avalanche" reels, where each consecutive win raises the multiplier. NetEnt lists an RTP of 95.97%, the lowest on this list, with a maximum win of 2,200x and a volatility of 6.7 on its 0 to 10 scale (medium).
Why the RTP at your casino may be lower
RTP is the share of all money staked that a slot pays back over millions of spins. A 96.50% RTP means that, over a very long run, 3.5% of the money staked is kept. It says nothing about what happens in one session.
Many providers sell the same game in several RTP versions and let each casino choose. Hacksaw Gaming publishes four versions per game, Push Gaming two for Razor Shark. Pragmatic Play's game pages show one figure, but casinos can run lower configurations. The version you are playing is shown in the game's info or paytable screen. If a casino runs a lower version than the ones listed here, you are paying more for the same game.
Volatility and max win: what they tell you
- Volatility describes how wins are spread. Low-volatility slots such as Starburst pay small amounts often. High-volatility slots such as Gates of Olympus can go hundreds of spins without a meaningful win and pay most of their RTP in rare, large hits.
- Max win is a cap, not a target. Bigwinboard puts the odds of hitting the 5,000x cap on Gates of Olympus at about 1 in 697,350 spins.
- Providers rate volatility on different scales (Hacksaw out of 5, NetEnt out of 10, Pragmatic Play not at all), so compare like with like.
Playing in the UK: stake limits
On sites licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, online slot stakes are capped at £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 per spin for players aged 18 to 24. The £5 cap applies from 9 April 2025 and the £2 cap from 21 May 2025. Some features, such as bonus buys, are not offered in every market, so the UK version of a slot may differ from the one described in international reviews.
Where to play
This page does not recommend specific casinos. Whichever site you choose, make sure it holds a licence where you live, for example from the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority, and check the licence in the regulator's public register rather than relying on the casino's footer. Licensed sites have to offer deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion. For the newest releases, see new online slots; for every slot we have reviewed, see our slots page.
Responsible gambling
Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over. Slots are games of chance with a built-in house edge, so play for entertainment with money you can afford to lose. Set a budget and a time limit before you start. If gambling stops being fun, get free, confidential help from GambleAware (BeGambleAware.org) or the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 in Great Britain. You can block yourself from every UK-licensed gambling site with GamStop, or use the national self-exclusion scheme in your own country. More on our responsible gambling page.
Frequently asked questions
Which slot on this list has the highest RTP?
Big Bass Bonanza, at 96.71% according to Pragmatic Play, just ahead of Razor Shark at 96.70% according to Push Gaming. Both figures are the providers' top versions; some casinos run lower ones.
Does a higher RTP mean I will win more?
No. RTP is a long-term average over millions of spins. In a single session, volatility matters far more, and any session can end in a loss.
Why does the same slot show a different RTP at different casinos?
Many providers sell the same game in several RTP versions and let the casino choose. Hacksaw Gaming, for example, lists four versions of Le Bandit, from 96.34% down to 88.36%. The game's info or paytable screen shows the version you are playing.
Can I play these slots in the UK?
All four providers hold UK Gambling Commission licences, but each casino chooses its own games. On UK-licensed sites, online slot stakes are capped at £5 per spin, or £2 if you are 18 to 24.
Can I play these slots for free on iGaming Explorer?
No. We don't host demo versions. Our slot pages explain the features, RTP and volatility so you can decide before you play.
Why are there only 12 slots on the list?
We only list slots whose RTP we can cite from the provider's own published information. A shorter list we can source beats a longer one we can't.
