EGamingOnline – key facts
  • What it is: EGamingOnline (EGO) is the shared affiliate programme for the casino brands run by SkillOnNet, including PlayOJO, SlotsMagic, EUcasino, DrückGlück and PlayUZU.
  • Licences: the brands operate under Skill On Net Limited, which holds a UK Gambling Commission licence (account 39326) and appears in the MGA licensee register (MGA/CRP/171/2009), with further licences in Sweden and Denmark.
  • Markets: the UK, Ontario, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Mexico, Peru, Brazil and Argentina (Buenos Aires City), plus .com traffic. Restricted: USA, Cyprus, Israel, Turkey and France.
  • Commission: revenue share tiers from 20% to 40% based on new depositing players; CPA and hybrid by negotiation (according to the programme's website, October 2026).
  • No negative carryover on casino brands and no bundling between brands.
  • Payments: in euros by the 10th of each month, minimum $100 ($500 by bank wire).

EGamingOnline, usually shortened to EGO, is not a casino operator in its own right. It is a trade name for the casino brands that SkillOnNet runs on its own platform, and the programme offers one login and one monthly payment across all of them. PlayOJO is the flagship, alongside a portfolio that has grown into Latin America, Greece and Ontario over the last two years.

For international publishers, EGO is one of the broader single-operator programmes: each brand targets its own set of regulated markets, and the terms contain separate marketing rules for the UK, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Ontario, Denmark, Greece, New Jersey and Alberta. This review covers who runs the programme, which licences the brands hold, the commission terms as published and the compliance points that matter for each market.

Background and ownership

According to SkillOnNet's own 20th-anniversary announcement, the company was founded in 2005 around online backgammon before moving into casino. In September 2025 it rebranded and brought its operations, marketing, R&D, corporate and games divisions together under the single SkillOnNet name. The company is headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus; the announcement names Kfir Chervinski as founder and says SkillOnNet holds more than a dozen local licences across Europe, South America and North America. EGO's news pages describe it as home to over 40 gaming sites. The sources we read do not disclose who owns SkillOnNet.

The contracting party is less clear than it should be. The terms describe the agreement as being with »EGamingOnline.com«, defined as a trade name used by all brands. Royal EGO Marketing Ltd, based in Limassol, is named as the developer of the tracking technology, and the German market section names Skill On Net Ltd as licence holder. The agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, with Cypriot courts as the forum. Ask for the legal counterparty in writing before signing.

Recent developments published by EGO include a joint venture with Regency Entertainment that was granted a Greek online licence in July 2025, a provisional Brazilian licence with PlayUZU and BacanaPlay going live in January 2025, and the relaunch of MegawaysCasino in the UK in March 2026, followed by an international roll-out under the MGA licence.

Brands and licences

All EGO brands sit with one licence holder. The UK Gambling Commission register lists Skill On Net Limited (head office in Limassol) with remote casino, bingo and gambling software licences and 61 domain names, including playojo.com, slotsmagic.com, eucasino.com, redkings.com, megawayscasino.com and jackpotstar.com. The MGA licensee register lists Skill On Net Limited under MGA/CRP/171/2009. Local licences are listed by Spelinspektionen in Sweden and Spillemyndigheden in Denmark.

Licences in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Greece, Ontario and Latin America are as stated by EGO and SkillOnNet; we have not checked those regulators' registers. The UK, Swedish and Danish registers also list sites SkillOnNet runs for other operators, such as Genting Casino, which are not part of EGO's brand list.

Regulatory record

In May 2023 Skill On Net Limited agreed to pay £305,150 under a settlement with the Gambling Commission over social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures. In Sweden, Spelinspektionen issued a warning and a SEK 14 million fee in June 2019 for unlawful bonuses and an unlicensed lottery; the Administrative Court of Appeal in Jönköping rejected the appeal in January 2022. In April 2024 Denmark's regulator issued three injunctions under the Money Laundering Act, as reported by iGaming Business. These cases concerned the operator, not its affiliates.

Commission models

EGO publishes its revenue share ladder, which is less common than it should be. The rate depends on the number of first-time depositors (FTDs) you send, and the same ladder is shown for most brands, including PlayOJO:

First-time depositorsRevenue share
0–520%
6–1025%
11–2530%
25–5035%
51+40%

(according to the programme's website, October 2026). The page does not state the period over which FTDs are counted. For SlotsMagic, EUcasino and Casino RedKings the deals page shows 20–35% revenue share, with CPA and hybrid deals on request. In Germany, revenue share was stopped from 1 July 2021, so other models apply there. Note that the terms themselves mention a default revenue share of 15%, with 20% for new partners, so get your agreed rate in writing.

  • Revenue base: »Net Revenue« is player deposits minus withdrawals and pending balances, less gaming taxes in locally licensed markets, licensing fees for branded and live games, and card processing fees of 4–6% of card deposits.
  • No negative carryover on casino brands, and losses on one brand do not reduce earnings on another. Multiple accounts promoting the same brand are, however, netted against each other.
  • CPA: players must reach a minimum of points or wagering under each brand's CPA terms. Abnormal player activity can lead to a CPA deal being switched to revenue share retroactively; CPA is not offered to affiliates based in China or Belarus.
  • Special deals lapse if you do not send at least one first-time depositor within two months.
  • Sub-affiliates are defined in the terms, but no rate is published, and affiliates earning solely from sub-affiliates are not paid.

Platform, tracking and payments

EGO uses its own tracking technology (»Ego Marketing«), with statistics updated every 24 hours, and one account can cover several websites. Commission is paid monthly in euros by the 10th; balances under $100 roll over to the next month, and bank wires require at least $500. The deals page lists bank wire, Skrill, Neteller, PayPal, ecoPayz and iWallet, but it carries a 2007–2020 copyright line, so check current methods in your account.

Either party can terminate at will with immediate effect by email, and the terms can be amended unilaterally, taking effect 10 days after posting. Bidding on brand terms in paid search is forbidden, as are sites built only to promote marketing codes, and email campaigns need approval within 7 days of opening an account. Applications go through the programme's sign-up page.

Compliance and responsible marketing
UK: the terms require compliance with the LCCP, the CAP and BCAP codes enforced by the ASA, and the industry code for socially responsible advertising. EGO brands may not appear on sites that promote brands without a UKGC licence to UK players or that give tips on avoiding GAMSTOP. Paid search ads must include 18+ and BeGambleAware.org.
Germany: no revenue share since 1 July 2021, the word casino may not be used, and a notice disclosing affiliate commission must be visible at the top of your site.
Ontario: advertising bonuses or other inducements is prohibited, social ads must be age-gated to 19+, and only AGCO-regulated operators may appear on the site.
Greece: affiliates need an affiliate suitability licence from the Hellenic Gaming Commission and may only use approved URLs and materials.
Nordics: Swedish marketing must carry 18+ and stodlinjen.se; Danish marketing must show 18+, StopSpillet and ROFUS. Direct contact with players by email, SMS or post is prohibited in both markets. Denmark is also debating bill {ext(S['l37'], 'L 37')}, which would ban revenue-share-based settlement for Danish players from 1 July 2027; it had not been adopted at the time of writing.

For a wider view of how these rules affect publishers, see our guide to iGaming affiliate marketing, our overview of Danish iGaming affiliate programmes and our page on responsible gambling.

Strengths
  • Brands licensed by the UKGC and listed with the MGA, plus Swedish and Danish licences
  • Published revenue share ladder from 20% to 40%
  • No negative carryover and no bundling between brands
  • One login and one payment across a wide multi-market portfolio
  • Detailed market-specific marketing rules in the terms
Points to consider
  • Revenue is calculated on deposits minus withdrawals, with deductions for taxes and card fees
  • The terms mention a 15% default that does not match the published ladder
  • The legal counterparty is unclear and the agreement is governed by Cypriot law
  • Immediate termination at will and unilateral changes to the terms
  • UK, Swedish and Danish regulatory actions against the licence holder

Our assessment

Based on the published terms and the licence registers, EGamingOnline is a relevant programme for publishers in the UK, the Nordics and a growing set of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking markets. The public revenue share ladder, the absence of negative carryover and a single payment across brands are clear advantages, and the market-specific rules in the terms are more detailed than in many operator programmes.

The caveats are real, though. The revenue base is deposits minus withdrawals with several deductions, the terms quote a lower default rate than the deals page, and the counterparty is named only as a trade name. Termination is immediate and the terms can change unilaterally. The licence holder's regulatory record in three markets is worth knowing, though none of the cases concerned affiliates. Get the rate, model and contracting entity confirmed in writing, and compare with other programmes in our affiliate programme overview.
